The Department of Communication Studies seeks a part-time conference assistant to help with the program’s two annual conferences: J-Day East (a high school media conference) and the Gordon Jackson Conference in Media Law and Ethics. This position is paid.

Responsibilities include event logistics, speaker coordination and outreach, registration, event promotion and social media management. Hours are flexible, but the conference assistant must be available to attend both events (J-Day East will be held 10/31/16, the Jackson conference date is TBD).
