Ten Whitworth students have their bags packed for the 2017 Media Impact in the U.S. trip this month. The group will spend time first in New York City, then travel to Washington, D.C. Students will meet leaders in media-related organizations, and they will have the opportunity to learn about current and coming issues and developments in the world of journalism and media. A highlight of the trip will be the chance to be in Washington for the presidential inauguration on January 20. The group is led by Communication Studies faculty member Kevin Grieves.
