Comm Studies students’ audio piece airs on public radio

The work of Comm Studies students Emily Goodell and Hayley O’Brien can be heard on Spokane Public Radio. The two students, along with classmate Hannah Brekke, reported on the resettlement of refugees in Spokane as part of a project for JMC 337 (Advanced Video & Audio Journalism). The finished audio piece aired on the Inland Journal radio program on KSFC radio, heard throughout the Spokane area. The piece is also available to listen to on the website of Spokane Public Radio (“Refugee Resettlement Work Active In Spokane“). Emily Goodell completed an internship with Spokane Public Radio; she and Hayley O’Brien graduated on May 21.
